Nikkah, Mehndi & Walima Makeup Artist in Houston

A Pakistani or Indian wedding isn't one day — it's a dholki, a mehndi, a nikkah, a baraat and a walima, each with its own outfit, its own light and its own mood. Nida designs a distinct look for every event and stays your one point of contact from the first function to the last, so nothing has to be re-explained to a stranger on the biggest week of your life.

Emerald mehndi and dholki glam makeup by Nidari, Houston

Your mehndi should look nothing like your walima. Same bride, five distinct looks.

One Artist, Every Function

Five events, five looks, one artist

Booking a different artist for each function means five trials, five explanations of your skin and five chances for the walima to clash with the nikkah photos. Nida does it the other way: one trial that plans the whole week, then a look per event that builds toward the main day.

The mehndi is bright and playful; the nikkah soft, modest and luminous; the baraat regal and heavy enough for the red; the walima glamorous and camera-proof past midnight. Hair and makeup together, dupatta and tikka set properly, and the same calm face at your door each morning.

The look for each function

Each event is quoted at the standard per-event rate — $200 hair + makeup on location or $250 at the Richmond studio for the bride — and the estimate tool prices the whole week together.

Dholki & Mayun

Fresh, glowing and low-maintenance — yellow and orange photograph warm, so the skin is kept luminous and the eyes soft.

Mehndi

Playful, high-colour glam built to last through hours of dancing: a bold lip or a bright lid, waterproof everything, hair that survives a dupatta.

Nikkah

Soft, modest, timeless. Luminous skin, a refined eye, hair and dupatta set for a close-up ceremony. Hijab-friendly styling on request.

Baraat & Rukhsati

Your heaviest outfit and jewelry, your most regal makeup — deep tones balanced against red or maroon, lashes and liner that hold up to a long, emotional day.

Walima & Reception

Glamorous, polished, flash-proof. Hollywood waves or a sleek updo, sculpted skin and a look that still reads at 1 a.m.

Guests & Family Across Events

Mothers, sisters and bridesmaids can book alongside the bride at the lower additional-person rate for any or all functions.

Why One Artist for the Whole Week

Consistency is the luxury

One trial plans every event

Outfits, jewelry and timings for all functions are mapped in a single session — you decide once, then relax.

Looks that build, not clash

Each event's look is designed knowing what came before and what comes next, so the album reads as one bride.

Hair, makeup, dupatta, tikka — done

No separate hairstylist to coordinate; Nida's team sets hair, dupatta and jewelry as part of the service.

Reviewed across events

Google reviewers describe booking Nida "for all the events" of a wedding and getting compliments at each one.

★★★★★
"My daughter and I got our makeup and hair done by Nida for all the events of my niece's wedding, and we absolutely loved it! We received so many compliments at every event. The makeup looked so natural and was exactly the way we wanted it."

Good to Know

Multi-event questions, answered

Yes — this is how Nida prefers to work. One trial plans the whole week, then a distinct look for each function: dholki, mehndi, nikkah, baraat, walima and reception. Multi-event bookings are welcome and are scheduled first.
Each event is priced at the standard per-event rate — for the bride, $200 hair + makeup on location (plus travel) or $250 at the Richmond studio — and family members book alongside at the lower additional-person rate. The instant estimate tool adds up the whole week.
Yes. Dupatta setting, tikka, matha patti and jhoomar placement are part of the bridal hair service, and the trial is where we rehearse it with your actual pieces.
Yes. Nida styles for hijab, modest and uncovered looks alike; tell her how you'll be covered at each event and the makeup and hair are planned around it.
Baraats and nikkahs often start early. Tell Nida your ready-by time and she schedules backwards from it; groups of four or more include a second hair artist.
Yes — bridal mehndi art is done in-house, so the henna, the hair and the makeup can be one booking.
