Consumer Health Data Policy
This notice describes how we collect, use, and share "consumer health data," and the rights you have over it, under laws such as Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada's SB 370, and similar state laws. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Contents
1 What is consumer health data
"Consumer health data" means personal information that identifies your past, present, or future physical or mental health status. Because Nidari Nutrition provides nutrition guidance, much of what you share with us can be consumer health data. This policy explains how we handle it.
2 Categories of consumer health data we collect
- Health conditions or diagnoses you choose to disclose (e.g., PCOS, diabetes, thyroid conditions, high blood pressure).
- Reproductive or maternal information you share (e.g., pregnancy, breastfeeding, trying to conceive).
- Body measurements and metrics (height, weight, body measurements, and any lab values you provide).
- Diet, nutrition, and eating-pattern information, including allergies and intolerances.
- Medications or supplements you mention.
- Information about your religious and cultural dietary practices (e.g., halal, fasting) to the extent it relates to your health and eating.
- Goals and self-reported wellness information, and notes from your calls and check-ins.
3 Sources
We collect this data directly from you — through intake forms, your intro call and check-ins, and your messages — and, in limited cases, from service providers that help us schedule or communicate with you. We collect only what you choose to share.
4 How we use it
We use consumer health data only to: prepare and personalize your nutrition education, coaching, and diets; communicate with you about your guidance; improve our services in a privacy-protective way; keep records; and comply with law. We do not use it for targeted advertising.
6 No sale of health data
We do not sell your consumer health data, and we will not sell it without first obtaining your separate, valid written authorization as required by law.
7 Processing in Pakistan
As explained in our Privacy Policy, your consumer health data is accessed and processed by our team in [Pakistan], which may not offer the same data-protection rights as your home state. By providing this data, you consent to that international processing.
8 Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may: confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data and access it; learn the categories of third parties and specific recipients with whom we share it; withdraw consent to our collection and sharing; delete your consumer health data; and appeal a denial of a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
9 How to exercise your rights
Email [privacy@nidarinutrition.com] with the subject "Health Data Request." We will verify your identity and respond within the period required by law (generally 45 days, extendable). You may use an authorized agent where the law allows. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response; if you remain unsatisfied, you may contact your state attorney general.
